Google Search Tips
Google Squared:allows you to search a broad topic from multiple sources at once.
To Use: Go to Google Squared, enter a search term, results come back in "squares", can add/delete columns as needed, or mouse over a square and choose a different source
Wonder Wheel: allows students to view a wheel display of relevant search terms. Clicking on one of the search terms will open a new wheel of relevant search terms and so on. Video about Wonder Wheel
To Use: Built in to every Google Search, on the left hand side of your results click on Wonder Wheel
Timeline:see your search results in a timeline format and be able to view a certain time period
To Use: Perform search. Click Timeline for search result timeline. Can click on time period to see results related to that period.
Related Searches: See other searches that are related to you original search. Just click on related searches after searching.
